Updates for 2011 include revised nose (sport more trapezoidal grille with larger emblem front and center-Volvo-and larger, carved lamps) and new LED taillights in the rear. AUDI a5 2011 in india

AUDI a5

The 2011 Audi A5 Coupe Review – Luxury First

The 2011 Audi A5 coupe delivers sleek, European-influenced styling with a fuel-efficient turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Available in three exclusive trim levels, the Audi A5 offers a wide array of luxurious standard features and exceptional options to provide solid performance and acceleration. The two-door Audi A5 luxury coupe also incorporates advanced safety features including four-wheel anti-lock brakes, emergency braking assistance and electronic brake force distribution, traction and stability control and front, rear and side airbags to protect driver and passengers in the event of an accident.
Under the hood
The turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the Audi A5 coupe provides ample power for trips around town and highway driving but may suffer on prolonged uphill climbs or when fully loaded with cargo. The Audi A5 coupe features a brake hill holder and center limited-slip differential for a more secure ride, while the four-wheel independent suspension and stabilizer bars provide a smooth, predictable ride even on rough terrain. A remote alarm system with engine immobilizer is standard on the Audi A5.
Inside the cabin
An advanced light sensing device provides data for the automatic climate control system controlled via the centralized touchscreen panel on the dashboard. Leather seating conveys a sense of luxury during the drive, while the panoramic glass sunroof lets the sun shine in without heating up the interior. The AM/FM CD stereo system features ten speakers, a diversity antenna and 180 watts of power for outstanding fidelity and sound reproduction; the system also features MP3 and iPod compatible inputs and a memory card slot. Available options on the Audi A5 coupe include heated front seats, a navigation system with rearview parking and backing camera, Bluetooth interface and an upgraded Bang & Olufsen sound system. Rear-seat legroom is at a premium and taller passengers may want to opt for the more spacious front-seat position.
On the road
The focus of the 2011 Audi A5 coupe is on luxury, not performance; as a result, the four-cylinder engine provides adequate but unimpressive acceleration and the steering wheel may vibrate significantly at higher speeds. Otherwise the Audi A5 delivers a smooth, quiet ride with exceptional braking distances and outstanding comfort for driver and passengers.
Conclusions
While not a competitor in the high-performance arena, the 2011 Audi A5 coupe provides luxury at a midrange price. Back-seat drivers will find their visibility and legroom limited by the coupe design, but overall the standard features and solid fuel economy of the A5 makes it a worthy competitor in the luxury coupe marketplace.
its ready to rockyz on roads

FERRARI FF

PERFORMANCE

The 2012 Ferrari FF may pack green-minded technologies like the HELE (High Emotion Low Emissions) start-stop system, but that doesn’t mean that Ferrari has designed what could be considered a very fancy Prius. Mounted front/mid-ship is a proper 6.3-liter V12, this one rated at 660 bhp (651 horsepower). Power is sent to all four wheels via an F1-style 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, helping this four-seat Ferrari sprint from 0-62 mph in just 3.7 seconds. And, yes, we really did mean to say “all four wheels.”
The company has outfitted the 2012 Ferrari FF with its first-ever all-wheel drive system, dubbed 4RM, and it is a technological marvel. It would take pages to explain how the system works, but put simply, this system utilizes two gearboxes to split the power between all four wheels. The 4RM is a rear-bias system and uses a standard gearbox to send the bulk of the power to the rear wheels. A smaller gearbox mounted to the nose of the crankshaft drives the front wheels. This is a rear-bias AWD system, with only 20% of available power ever being sent to the front. But still, the trick ECU can vector power and torque individually between all four wheels, sending it to whichever wheel needs it the most. This lets the Ferrari blast down dry, wet or snowy roads.

Aiding in the FF’s dominance over a variety of climates is its specially designed set of all-season car tires. Better than the rubber attached to your minivan, this set of rubber is rated to speeds of up to 180 mph. Swap on a set of summer tires, and the FF can achieve a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph).

DESIGN

With its Pininfarina-styled shooting brake body, the 2012 Ferrari FF looks like nothing else on the road. Yes, it is a hatchback Ferrari, an idea that certainly upsets some, but the car is so beautiful that it’s an easier pill to swallow than, say, a Porsche SUV.

Breaking tradition from the spartan, race-inspired interiors typically found in Ferraris, the FF boasts a luxurious bespoke cabin worthy of the finest grand tourers. Inside the FF, one will find four snug race-inspired seats, all of which are wrapped in exclusive Frau aniline leather.

As is expected in a car such as this, the rear seats are a bit snug and are best used as thrones for only the most privileged of children. A rear-seat dual-screen entertainment system can entertain these kiddies on lengthy road trips, while passengers not enthralled by the symphony of the V12 will likely find enjoyment from the 1,280-watt, 16-channel stereo with Quantum Logic Surround Sound. Ensuring that everyone has a change of clothes or two upon reaching their destination is a capacious boot, and the 2012 Ferrari FF can haul 450 liters (15 cu-ft) of luggage with the rear seats up, 800 liters (28 cu-ft).

expected price Rs.3,00,0000*

PEUGEOT 508 car expected OCT 2011

PEUGEOT 508

Peugeot is one of the major European car manufacturers. Famous for their high end design and high tech features, all the vehicles of this brand have become a luxury symbol all across the globe. This world renowned French car brand has recently announced that they would launch  Peugeot as a brand in India very soon, though it is not the official announcement. The rumour has it that the official announcement is right there in the corner of the first quarter of the year 2011. Since, we all have witnessed the images of Peugeot 508 floating everywhere on the internet with the caption WE WANT THIS CAR IN INDIA, we believe that this might become reality soon. We truly believe that the first car to be launched by this company is the Peugeot 508, as this car would be the best suited candidate for the newly constructed CKD manufacturing plant which is supposed to have a capacity of 100,000 vehicles.
it may be  cost of Rs.20,00,000.
Peugeot 508 is the size of the all so famous Honda Accord in India. This car was launched by the Peugeot recently in the ‘Paris Auto Show’. This car has got everything that makes it a head turner. Right from the exteriors to the interiors settings, it is simply scintillating.  The exteriors of this car look like one of those French chicks wrapped in the satin cloth. It’s elegant, distinct and stylish. At the same time sit inside the car and you’ll be awed by the elegant interiors of the car. The material used is of high quality which is marked by the very fine detailing. It offers a great deal of information about the features included inside the car as well. This car offers an ample of cabin space and a generous boot space. Though, it’s not right time to speculate about its features we are very much sure about the 2.0 litre HDi common rail diesel engine which will be available in either  the 160 Bhp or with 140 Bhp output. But we guess that the Indian market will be blessed with the former one as it will make a lot of sense because of its automatic tranny.

Vilner’s Mini Cooper S Inspired by Bentley

Vilner’s Mini Cooper S

Rolls Royce and Mini rolled out the Mini Cooper S "Inspired by Goodwood" by Rolls-Royce, a model based off a standard Mini Cooper S and inspired by Rolls Royce’s design elements. Vilner Studio took one look at the special edition and decided if Rolls Royce could do it, then they could do it even better by opting to transform the Mini’s interior into that of a Bentley model. Their package is called the "Italian Job" - after the movie- and features one of the most impressive interiors anyone will ever see in a Mini.

The package starts off with Nappa leather, the same leather used in Bentley’s factory, offered in brown and combined with two colors of high-tech Alcantara. This tan leather has a diamond-shaped texture that also matches Bentley’s pattern and can be found on the seats and doors where they are combined with smooth black leather. All of the original plastic parts were then sprayed down with a sparkling gray finish.
The Mini Cooper S package was all about transforming the interior to look like a Bentley, but the exterior was not left out entirely. Vilner chose a matte gray wrap and then added two matte black racing stripes going up the hood towards the full matte black roof. The package is completed by a new set of 18" black wheels.

Ferrari

                                          2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

The 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is a first-rate exotic sports car equipped with enough power and panache to leave most everyone jealous. Since its introduction in 2005, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti hasn’t changed all that much. While that may bother some critics who feel that its Ferrari siblings look better, others don’t seem to mind at all. After all, few cars come close to matching the 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti’s unique combination of sleek grand tourer styling, hardcore sports performance and high-class interior accommodations.

It’s not a chore to drive on a regular basis either. The 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti’s visceral 540-horsepower V12 engine is loud and intimidating, but it handles comfortably. Plus, it features two small back seats and a class-competitive 8.75 cubic feet of cargo room. Although the words ‘practical’ and ‘Ferrari’ aren’t always synonymous, the Scaglietti is very usable, with a decent trunk, space out back for reasonably sized humans, and a wonderfully flexible V-12 engine.
The 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti might not be the most powerful or fastest performer in its class, but it’s a wonder to drive. Despite its physical size, it drives like a small, powerful, and lightweight sports car. The 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti features a 540-horsepower V12 engine and can reach a top speed of 196+ mph.
The 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is sleek and sexy, but some say its looks are not on par with more recently designed Ferraris. Even though it’s 5-years old and arguably showing its age, the 612 retains a strong sense of panache. For what it’s worth, folks on the street will definitely take notice.
Reviewers continue to marvel over the 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti’s modern, luxurious and intuitive interior design. Inside, drivers and passengers are rewarded with glove-soft leather, superb ergonomics, and no I-drive or M-drive. We found it amazing that in such a hot performance car, Ferrari’s layout could be quickly mastered when it came to the basics such as audio, ventilation and so forth. Despite its four-passenger capacity, most reviewers assert that the 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is better suited for only two.
The 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti has not been crash tested, but features a long list of active and passive safety equipment. Reviewers, however, have little to say about its safety features.

Protecting the 2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is a three-year/unlimited-mileage warranty — which is on par with its competition.

  Latest Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

Ferrari further blurs the line between GT and sports car with this stunningly capable 599.

BY K.C. COLWELL
May 2009
So, your stock portfolio is in the crapper, your spouse has found a younger flame, and your standard $326,730 Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano isn’t doing it for you anymore. Might we suggest that you order a new 599? This time, however, check the box for the $30,095 Handling GTE, or HGTE, package. With it comes a retuned suspension consisting of stiffer springs (17 percent in front and 15 percent in the rear), a thicker rear anti-roll bar (1.0 inch versus 0.9 for the standard 599), retuned adjustable shocks, and slightly wider front wheels. The 599 HGTE also sits 0.4 inch lower than the regular version, has a retuned exhaust note, and is fitted with stickier Pirelli P Zero rubber. Inside, each HGTE-equipped 599 includes every possible carbon-fiber option.
The twin-cam, 6.0-liter V-12’s power is unchanged at 612 hp and 448 lb-ft of torque. There are two options for the transmission, both of which offer six speeds: a traditional three-pedal manual or Ferrari’s F1-Superfast automated manual. The latter is the primary choice for buyers, evidenced by a quick jaunt past the company’s assembly line, where none of the partly assembled 599s were fitted with a manual gearbox.
